Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Site Leadership: Conduct on-site visits to oversee the installation of large electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and customer specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers, performing repairs and routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
  • Customer Partnership: Foster strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and service, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Review customer performance reports and documentation, inspect malfunctioning or damaged equipment, and analyze inspection findings to determine the source of issues. Implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and direct field service employees, ensuring work is assigned, safety protocols are followed, and tasks are completed efficiently. Collaborate closely with Field Service, Engineering, and other departments to expedite repairs and enhance service delivery. Provide training and support to enhance team performance.
  • Reporting and Recommendations: Maintain detailed records of all service activities and submit comprehensive reports to the Field Service Supervisor, highlighting issues and recommending improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations in all service activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical equipment installation and troubleshooting.
  • Technical Skills: Two to three years as an electrical journeyman, or equivalent experience, including the maintenance and installation of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Leadership Ability: Proven experience leading a team, directing work, ensuring safety, and resolving problems in a field service environment.
  • Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and management. Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, whether one-on-one or in group settings.
  • Work Ethic: Regular attendance, punctuality, ability to work on-site, and availability for overtime as needed. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced field environment.
