As a member of our Division of Nursing's (DON) leadership/management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of patient care in this specialized field.Position OverviewThe Director of Nursing is responsible for the leadership and management of the MSICU at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The MSICU department provides care to patients with complex medical conditions like organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and DKA. The MICU nursing team prides themselves on working safely and efficiently in a high-stress, multifaceted environment.We strive to provide safe, quality care by maintaining a patient-centered approach.
