Peraton is seeking a

System/Enterprise Architect

to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position can be worked remotely. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program for the US Coast Guard (CG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the operational environment under a common technology framework to better support the services provided to CG's customers.This System/Enterprise Architect will provide support for:The capture and analysis of the customer enterprise architecture.Assisting in creating and overseeing enterprise business/system/technology architecture.Provide support for identifying recommendations for changes to IT Strategic objectives.Day to Day Work Responsibilities:Analyse and document architecture (including business, system, and technology architectures).Develop and maintain IT Modernization plans and roadmap(s).Define plans to transition from the current state (as-is) to the target state (to-be) of IT architecture.Identify challenges/impacts/risks associated with IT changes and determine mitigations.Establish, refine, and enforce governance for enterprise mission.Develop strategies for aligning organizations with mission needs.Provide technical and business input regarding EA decisions.Collaborate with business/system stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology use cases, models, and artifacts.#USCGIMSQualifications

Basic Qualifications:U.S. Citizenship Required; Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Secret security clearance.Bachelor's degree with 12 years' experience or Master's degree with 10 years' experience or HS Diploma/equivalent and 16 years of experience.Experienced with applied engineering methodologies and principles to conduct major enterprise-wide business process evaluation and modernization projects.Experience conducting cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and analysis of alternatives (AoA).Experience working with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (such as FEAF, DoDAF, TOGAF, and Zachman).Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and be comfortable communicating with executives, managers, and technical resources.Experience with modeling tools such as ARIS Connect, Cameo, IBM SA, etc. by using Model Driven Architecture (MDA) methodologies.Experience with cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML and RPA.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Agile Product Management.Experience in the principles and practice of on-prem and cloud architecture.Peraton Overview

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
