THE POSITION
As a
Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing
at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving the procurement strategy and initiatives to achieve cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and establish strong supplier relationships. Your expertise in strategic sourcing and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving business growth and competitiveness.
You will report directly to our
VP & CPO of Building Automation
business group and you'll work out of our
Atlanta, GA
location on a
Hybrid
work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute Annual & Strategic PlanEnsure alignment to Business Growth Initiatives & New Product IntroductionsManage Category and Commodity teams and StrategiesBuild a world-class workforce that creates competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talentAlign with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance and Quality and Other Honeywell BusinessesImprove sourcing processes / performance with effective management operating systemLead Organizational effectiveness and Budget through efficiencyCommunicate key procurement metrics at various monthly, quarterly and annual reports and meetings
YOU MUST HAVE10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain managementExtensive electrical/electronic commodity experienceStrong leadership and people management skillsDemonstrated experience in developing and executing procurement strategiesExcellent negotiation and contract management skillsKnowledge of sourcing processes and tools, such as SAP and e-sourcing platformsInternational experience with exposure to high-growth regionsCross-functional experience in engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing
WE VALUEExtensive experience in Strategic Sourcing, preferably involving products with significant electronics content. Master's DegreeComplex and Large Project Management and/or Contract Management and/or Procurement transformation ExperienceProfessional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/Procurement/Contract ManagementGlobal Leadership experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/BusinessDemonstrated Business and financial acumenExperience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management ToolsInternational experience with exposure to High Growth RegionsCross functional experience at the interfaces of engineering/technology, operations, sales/marketing
