NYU Langone, affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center is seeking a full-time board-certified Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist for our busy community hospital (400 beds) and ambulatory practice (500,000 visits a year) in North Brooklyn.
The position would include signing out routine surgical and cytology cases and signing out hematopathology cases. The candidate will oversee a range of medical tests to determine the conditions of patients and interpret the results. The candidate is expected to collaborate with other doctors working on a case to explore the best course of treatment for a patient, providing an important perspective in considering a patient's case and the proper care that should result.
The preferable candidate should have 2-3 years of hospital-based practice experience.
