This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.As an Infrastructure Equity Analyst with Pacific Life Investments (PLI), you will collaborate closely with the Infrastructure Investment team to analyze, evaluate, and recommend infrastructure equity investments that meet the portfolio's risk and return objectives on behalf of Pacific Life's General Account. The infrastructure equity team manages a rapidly growing portfolio of over $1 billion of AUM. You will fill a new role on the Infrastructure Investment Team, which currently consists of five investment professionals housed within the Private Assets department of PLI. Your direct colleagues will include seasoned Infrastructure and Project Finance professionals investing in both fixed income and equity opportunities.How you'll help us move forward:Analyze, evaluate, and execute infrastructure equity fund investments and direct co-investmentsPerform detailed financial analysis and modelingParticipate in investment committee meetingsActively monitor the portfolio to track performance and identify trendsDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including infrastructure equity sponsors, senior level executives, legal counsel, investment bankers, and consultantsGrow and advance under the direction of more senior investment professionals to further progress knowledge and skillsThe experience you bring:2-5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, or corporate M&AStrong oral and written communication skills, ability to build relationshipsInvestment knowledge, proficiency in accounting, financial modeling experienceAbility to multi-task while retaining strong attention to detailWhat makes you stand out:Demonstrated enthusiasm for investments, a proactive approach to exploring industry trends and developments, intellectual curiosityAlignment with the team's risk philosophy and a nuanced understanding of risk management in investment decision-makingAbility to contribute as a team player while also excelling in independent work environments, navigating through uncertainties and ambiguitiesYou can be who you are.People come first here. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
