The Nursing Business Office Specialist reports directly to the Nursing Business Office Manager and manages unit schedules based on established grids ensuring that shifts are filled with qualified employees up to their FTE and they are placed in required shifts with accurate pay rules.

Nursing Business Office Specialist I

Key Accountabilities:

Submits hours for payroll processing after reviewing timecards and work rules for accuracy. Resolving missing swipes, ensuring scheduled shifts are represented accurately on roster, cost center transfers, assigned jobs and pay codes are correct. Processes historical edits and follows up on overpayment issues.Monitors employee attendance records, prompting manager involvement in counseling process when a rule variant occurs.Completes audits to ensure employee compliance with established scheduling and payroll guidelines.Establishes processes to monitor and maintain personnel transactions and ensuring the accuracy of position profiles stored in the HRIS component of the ERP system.Participates in the realignment of positions in the ERP system to establish reporting parameters to ensure accurate metrics and reports are maintained for workforce planning and recruitmentWork Schedule:

Associate's degree OR 6 years of relevant work experiencePrevious administrative experience preferred, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
