POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will serve as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction.The expectation is to consistently provide excellent customer service, represent client needs, build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities while maintaining the goals within the organization to ensure quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: may include any or all of the following.
Responsible for regular communication, conflict resolution, and compliance to customer expectations and account revenue for all assigned customers.Responsible for effective sales coverage and account contact within the assigned territory.Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client; approves Change Orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections.Some discounting and price negotiations may be handled directly with the customer based on specific guidelines.Work closely with Operations personnel in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.Aware of and pursues opportunities for account growth and new business, including cross-selling both products and services provided by the Company.Provide regular communication between the customer and project/sales team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.Understands Company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to customers.Provide regular input and CRM documentation on all account activity and opportunities, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY STATEMENTS):
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, sales control systems and industry specific product knowledge.Demonstrated ability to understand customer and equipment needs as well as applications.Demonstrated ability to interact with people, clear fluent expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas so others will understand.Proven ability to provide excellent customer service skills and be able to deal with customers tactfully and efficiently, assessing their needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Demonstrated knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Proven ability to maintain a consistent and positive customer service image, frequently under difficult conditions.Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate a workload.Proven ability to use basic selling techniques to "upsell" orders and sell related products is essential.Demonstrated ability to write clearly and informatively and edit work for spelling and grammar; able to read and interpret written information and use clear fluent verbal and written language to convey information and ideas so others will understand.SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and 5+ years of sales/account or project management as well as industry related experience and/or training is required.Some additional education post high school is preferred.Engine, Compression, Mechanical/Maintenance, Equipment or field supervisory experience preferred.Computer skills:
Adequate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications.Computer Skills
