The agency is linking communities in Northeastern Illinois by providing safe, reliable, and efficient commuter service.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will lead and manage the recruitment efforts for key roles within Metra, closely work with hiring managers and Human Resources representatives to develop and implement strategic recruitment plans that attract top talent, and function as a team lead providing mentorship and ensuring the recruitment process aligns with the company's goals and values.The primary duties include:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters including conducting regular team meetings to discuss recruitment strategies, challenges, and successes; and providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create job descriptions that accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities.Source candidates and create talent pools using various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies and advanced sourcing techniques, such as Boolean searches and AI-driven recruitment tools, to identify passive candidates and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future openings.Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications, fit, and potential.Leverage data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Candidates can expect salary offers that range from the minimum to the mid-point of the salary range. Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, or in lieu of degree, a combination of education and experience that equals four years in Human Resources.In addition to #1, must have five years of full lifecycle recruitment/talent acquisition experience including two years creating effective sourcing strategies for diverse candidate attraction, selection, and engagement using a metrics-driven approach to recruiting. Experience in employer branding and recruitment marketing is a plus.Considerable knowledge and understanding of various recruitment strategies, best practices, current trends, and innovations in talent acquisition.Considerable knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, sourcing and attracting, screening, interviewing, and selection.Good knowledge of market conditions and their impact on recruitment.Good knowledge of data analytics tools to track and report recruitment metrics.Good knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices.Knowledge of employer branding strategies to attract top talent.Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and computer applicant tracking systems.Ability to collaborate effectively with HR colleagues, hiring managers, and external partners.Ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions.Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred:Professional certification in Human Resources (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).Metra employees in an active review period under the current discipline policy or who have documented attendance or performance issues will not be considered and/or selected for this position.Please note:
