General Information:Service Sales Proposal Engineer will be responsible for supporting high voltage bids from bid receipt to proposal preparation. The Proposal Engineer will review the technical RFQ and offer service solutions including installation & commissioning, maintenance, and retrofits associated with High Voltage equipment.The Proposal Engineer will work closely with the project execution team to develop product schedules and work with third-party vendors in order to offer a complete solution. The Proposal Engineer is responsible for managing relationships with key account managers and the sales team to align on project strategy.Your Responsibilities:Conduct business with safety and integrity.Proactive business development attitude and business collaboration.Promote and grow sales for the entire PGHV Service portfolio.Understand the entire PGHV and Service portfolio offering in collaboration with Product Managers, Regional Service Sales Managers, and Service Center Managers.Support high voltage bids from bid receipt to proposal preparation, reviewing the technical RFQ, and offering service solutions including installation & commissioning, maintenance, and retrofits associated with High Voltage equipment.Work closely with the project execution team to develop product schedules and collaborate with third-party vendors to offer a complete solution.Manage relationships with key account managers and the sales team to align on project strategy.Position HITACHI ENERGY HV Service as the customers' first choice for relevant offerings.Drive improvement processes that positively affect the sales process.Collaborate with the Installed Base Manager to identify new customer opportunities and proactively sell parts and services.Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your Background:Sales Specialist / Service Sales Proposal Engineer must have:Engineering background.Minimum 5 years of sales experience in preferred sectors (Electrical, Industrial, Utilities).Experience in negotiating with and navigating multiple management levels of a customer organization.SAP Experience Required.Salesforce.com Experience is a plus.Reading and understanding engineering drawings is required.Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
