The Health, Science, and Technology Division seeks a dynamic, collaborative, and student-centered full-time faculty member to join the Engineering & Technology Department to teach in the field of Electrical Engineering. The successful candidate will teach Intro to Engineering, Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Programming Concepts for Engineers, Electric Circuits, Discrete Signal Analysis, Digital Logic Design, Digital Circuits and Systems, and Numerical Methods. The candidate should have a passion for teaching; a solutions-oriented, growth mindset; and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Applicants must be willing to teach day or evening courses face-to-face, hybrid, and online. The teaching load is 15 credits per semester. Release time is available for course coordination. In addition, faculty are expected to maintain at least five (5) office hours per week while class is in session and accept other responsibilities as described below.Work Performed

Teach courses in Electrical Engineering, day or evening, in multiple modalities including face-to-face, hybrid, and flexible onlineCoordinate Introduction to Engineering, participate in enrollment management, supervise and coach adjunct facultyPrepare syllabi and Canvas sitesDevelop and update course materialsParticipate in program management and learning outcome assessment initiativesWork collaboratively with faculty, and other course coordinators and staff to implement departmental programsProvide service to the department, division, and collegeAttend and actively participate in meetings; keep informedRespond promptly to requests for information and assistance from students and college administratorsParticipate in commencement ceremonies and other significant institutional eventsPursue teaching improvement and professional developmentWork cooperatively, respectfully, and effectively with peers, support staff, and administrators; use appropriate communication channelsOther duties as assignedA full list of faculty responsibilities can be found at:
