Your mission

We are seeking a driven and experienced

Account Executive

(New Business)

to join our US team, based in Chicago, IL. This role is pivotal in generating new business and expanding our presence in the automation industry with our cutting-edge software product. Your ability to identify, engage, and convert high-potential prospects into long-term customers will be crucial to our growth and success.Key Responsibilities

New Business Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the manufacturing industry using a variety of channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and industry networking.Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our software product's capabilities and how it can transform customers' automation strategies. Effectively communicate and demonstrate the product's value proposition to potential clients.Consultative Sales Approach: Be a modern “sales” thought leader by leading a consultative sales process, focusing on creating value-driven engagements that lead to meaningful, long-term customer relationships. Guide prospects through the decision-making process, ensuring they understand and appreciate the full benefits of our solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to post-sale engagement and ongoing value realization.Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive developments. Provide actionable insights to refine our product offerings and enhance our go-to-market strategy.CRM Management: Leverage Salesforce.com and other tools to manage your sales pipeline, document customer interactions, and analyze data to inform and optimize your sales strategies. Work closely with your Business Development Director to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives for the US market.Your profile

Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industrial automation sector, with a strong focus on OT software solutions or robotics.Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating new business through consultative selling, with a proven ability to build and sustain long-term, value-driven customer relationships.Market Savvy: Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry's challenges and opportunities, particularly within the industrial automation and robotics spaces.Startup Experience: Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is highly desirable, with the agility to adapt and thrive in a dynamic setting.Strong Communicator: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Confluence and Slack, with a strong ability to leverage data for informed decision-making and sales optimization.Strategic Sales Mindset: A strategic thinker with a relentless drive for success and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.Global Immersion Experience: Onboarding will include a three-week trip to Germany to immerse yourself in our global operations from 27th of October to 15th of November.International Collaboration Focus: Join a team that values international collaboration, with at least two visits per year to our German headquarters.Why us?
