The ideal candidate will possess a degree in electrical engineering or computer science and have a minimum of 2 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience. A JD and admission to the USPTO are mandatory.Duties:Conduct patent preparation and prosecution activities, specializing in electrical engineering or computer science.Collaborate with clients, inventors, and senior attorneys to analyze and address legal issues related to intellectual property.Draft, review, and submit patent applications, responses to office actions, and various legal documents.Perform comprehensive legal research to support patent prosecution efforts and stay current with relevant laws and regulations.Participate in the development and execution of patent strategies for clients.Requirements:Demonstrated high level of academic achievement.2+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.JD and admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Education:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science.Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Preferred Experience:Experience in patent prosecution related to electrical engineering or software-related technologies.Exposure to data science/AI, networking technologies, particularly network security.Familiarity with machine learning/artificial intelligence and hardware security.Skills:Exceptional writing and communication skills.Strong legal research and analytical capabilities.Effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.In-depth understanding of patent laws and regulations.Detail-oriented and organized.Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.
