Pay Rate: 32.60-34.80 (depending on education)

Catholic Charities of Baltimore Head Start/Early Head Start in Baltimore City is currently seeking a

Program Compliance Coordinator . The PC Coordinator will assist in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and delivery of a high-quality HS/EHS program. The PC Coordinator performs the duties required to ensure program quality and compliance through ongoing review, monitoring, and follow-up support. Coordinates and participates in the development of the self-assessment, community assessment, PIR, and annual report, and monitors program activities to ensure the Head Start program meets or exceeds performance standards and adheres to other relevant regulations. Responsible for incorporating Catholic Charities mission, vision, values, and philosophies into daily work and demonstrating a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the Director to ensure quality oversight and effective monitoring of HS and EHS operations.Assist the Management Team in areas of program compliance, quality, licensing, accreditation, health and safety, facilities, The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and risk management.Assist in ensuring facilities/equipment are appropriately maintained per State and Federal Regulations.Explore and research facility opportunities.Develop and implement, in conjunction with the Family Services Coordinator Supervisors, strategies to overcome barriers and ensure children’s attendance.Develop strategies to utilize technology to streamline operations.Identify potential interruptions or challenges to providing high-quality programming daily and elevate those concerns to the Director.Monitor environmental and safety status of facilities, completion of needed facility corrections, and completion of required paperwork.Produce reports of incident, infectious disease, complaints, for the Continuous and Performance Quality Improvement process complying with OCC/OHS.Assist Family and Education service area team with policies and procedures and activities to meet the goals of the Head Start Program.Monitor child safety and supervision.Participate in the annual self-assessment and review and update of policies and procedures in conjunction with the Policy Council and Quality Committee.Participate in professional development activities, keep informed of changes in the field of education and family services, and share information with colleagues.Assist Teacher Staff Coach with establishing expectations and timelines for coaching sessions and Teacher Success Rubric or other appropriate tools.Perform other duties as assigned.Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.Four years’ experience working in an Early Childhood Program. Head Start experience strongly preferred.Required Skills & Abilities

Requires the ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform position functions.A Valid Driver’s License with no more than 3 points is required. Proof of auto insurance and annual DMV checks are required.Physical Requirements & Work Environment

The position requires extended periods of standing and frequent reaching, bending, lifting, walking, stooping, sitting, including sitting on the floor, and the ability to move freely throughout the building including climbing stairs in those buildings where there isn’t an elevator.
