Associate Account Manager, Surety Bonds
to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division as a hybrid employee in our Long Beach, CA office reporting to the Regional Product Manager, Surety Bonds.
Job Profile
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, as well as surety underwriters, to coordinate successful bond issuance and renewals with responsible underwriting standardsTake surety bond requests and employ surety-approved underwriting authority to provide approvals where appropriate or to request more information when necessary to meet strict underwriting guidelines and to best support the client's needsDigitally prepare and submit bond paperwork as requested by customers including new submissions, riders, and increases in a timely manner - usually same dayHandle underwriter requests for underwriting information on renewals and follow up to completion, employing strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure that anniversary dates are metCommunicate regularly with management and the sales staff to advise them of relevant account informationIdentify new business opportunities and refer to management and sales staffPursue a program of professional developmentJob Requirements
Excellent customer service skills to explain and provide our products in a prompt and accurate fashionBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experienceP&C Producer License in domicile state preferred, but not required, at start of employment; will be required within 60 days of employmentStrong analytical skills and ability to make decisions, problem solve and think on your feetProficiency with written and oral communication; ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner with an appropriate level of detail, empathy and professionalismStrong organizational skills to maintain digital files and paperwork in an orderly and accurate mannerAbility to build relationships and work as part of a team in a positive and professional mannerExperience in standard Microsoft programs (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong aptitude for learning proprietary softwareAbility to function effectively in an office environment and remotelyComfortable working with numbers and percentagesMRSGNA is open to considering candidates in California. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Califonia location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $45,000.00 to $65,000.00, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in California. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role
