As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions.
We are seeking a full time Associate Account Manager, Logistics Insuranceto join the Roanoke Insurance Group division either to be a hybrid employee in our Miami, FL office reporting to the Regional Product Manager, Logistics Insurance.
Job Profile
Assist customers with quotes for cargo insurance promptly, securing approval from a Roanoke employee with sufficient binding authorityCreates and maintains positive relationships with customers and carriersIssues Lloyd's policies, endorsements and renewal documentsProvide service to company's sales staff and clients, including proposals, special quotes, binders and certificates of insuranceVerify insurance company billings/discrepancy reports as requiredAssist in the production of new business and handle existing accounts as requiredResponsible for coordinating the initial renewal effort for all Houston, TX or Long Beach, CA cargo policiesResponsible for CoverageDock referralsJob Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experienceProducer License in domicile state preferred, but not required at start of employmentExcellent customer service skills to explain and provide our products in a prompt and accurate fashionAbove average math skills to work with numbers and percentagesStrong analytical skills and ability to make decisions, problem solve and think on your feetProficiency with written and oral communication. Ability to provide information in a clear, concise manner with an appropriate level of detail, empathy and professionalismStrong organizational skills to maintain paperwork in an orderly and accurate mannerAbility to build relationships and work as part of a team in a positive and professional mannerExperience in standard office programs (Windows, Word, Excel) and strong aptitude for learning proprietary softwareAbout Us
