We provide consulting services in the areas of Human Capital & Organizational Performance Solutions, Program Management Services, Training & Development, and Staff Augmentation.Responsibilities and DutiesHarkcon, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Acquisition Specialist to support the CISA Cybersecurity Division (CSD). CSD leads the Nation's strategic and unified work to strengthen the security, resilience, and workforces of the cyber ecosystem to protect critical services. The Senior Acquisition Specialist will support the procurement and acquisition functions and establish high-level contract strategy and implementation in support services to CSD. This position is contingent upon contract award.Role:Serve as a team lead and acquisition expert to a large team of 10+ peopleServe as sr. acquisition advisor for the govt clientWork alongside contracting officer representatives (CORs) in support of acquisition lifecycle managementAssist with establishing and developing standard acquisition templates for all types of contract support activities to allow for streamlined procurement development and planning activities.Assist in establishing and updating a repository for contract artifacts, best practices, and SOPs.Perform duties in support of acquisition planning and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to advise and resolve any issuesAssist the client with start to finish acquisition lifecycle management supportSupport the development of acquisition packagesTrack the status of procurement activitiesQualifications:10+ years of direct experience in federal acquisition/contract certification10+ years of experience managing or directing Acquisition Programs involving contract strategy and driving implementation of strategic contract opportunitiesPossess an understanding of all federal contract types to include firm fixed price (FFP), time and materials (T&M), cost plus fixed fee (CPFF), etc.Master's degree in a relevant fieldExperience with GSA schedulesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteMust be a U.S. CitizenAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearanceBenefitsThe position includes competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits:Salary Range: $145,000-$200,000 to commensurate with experience, education, etc.Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceRetirement savings 401K plan with 4% employer matching contributionsPaid Time OffLife Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability benefitsProfessional Development opportunities
