Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a
Personnel Manager
supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.***Contingent upon contract award***Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:Plan, organize, and evaluate the organization's training and professional development program for assigned personnelNotify units of all special duty and professional military education opportunity programs and aid in submission of application packages to the servicing Military Personnel FlightTrack Professional Military Education, Acquisition Professional Development Plan, Key Leadership Positions, Career Field Education and Training Plan, and Individual Development Plan information for the GovernmentTrack and monitor the submissions of military and civilian awards and decorations, quarterly and annual awards, and special trophiesMonitor and track deploying personnel and deployment equipmentTrack the organization's military performance reports, feedback forms, military promotion forms, stratifications, and force shaping forms in accordance with regulationsQualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:Citizenship:
Must be a US citizenClearance:
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to maintain it.Education:
Bachelor's degree or higherYears' experience:
At least 10 years of experience in a related fieldExperience:
Initiating, supervising, and developing requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programsProviding strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staffProviding detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issuesConsulting with clients to define need or problem, supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
Preferred Qualifications:Education and Years' of experience:
Master's degree or higher and at least 12 years of demonstrated experience in a related field.Additional Information:Location:
