Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a

Budget Analyst

supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC) Military Communication and Positioning, Navigation and Timing Directorate (CG) in the United States Space Force. This position will support the SSC/CG program office as it rapidly premier capabilities resilient to the threat by the relentless pursuit of warfighter needs and acquisition excellence.As a member of the Program Acquisition Support (PAS) Team, you will be developing, facilitating, updating and/or coordinating 3-letter and 4-letter level briefings, tasks, reports, media queries, public releases, and special projects.This is a full-time opportunity located in LA, CA.***Contingent upon contract award***Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:Respond to various tasks including data calls, document reviews, acquisition reporting, travel requests, media requests, and other mandatory reporting directed by Congress, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, Headquarters Space Force, Space Systems Command, and local entities.Provide substantive analysis of pertinent topics to support requirements for situational awareness and in-depth understanding of specific 3-letter and 4-letter issues.Maintain continuity of key acquisition documents supporting policy, program milestones, and strategy decisions.Research, draft, and edit articles, speeches, and testimony on the Directorate organization, missions, operations, and initiatives.Review, coordinate, and process program information suitable for public release to industry, media, trade publications, international partners, and other program stakeholders.Provide coordination for PEO organizations visits, coordinating between visitors and the PEO organizations.Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.Clearance: Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and be able to maintain it.High School Diploma or higher.Years of experience: At least 9 years of experience in a related field.Preferred Qualifications:Education and Years of experience:Associates degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience in a related field.Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a related field.Experience with the Task Management Tool (TMT).Additional Information:Location:

On-site at LA AFB, with telework capabilities for local candidates.Hybrid:
