Executive Assistant / Legal and Risk Management

provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Duties are a broad range of administrative, organizational, reporting, analysis, and contract administration support. This role will provide direct assistance to the EVP/GC in the performance of their executive and management responsibilities, including handling and maintaining highly confidential information, exercising discretion and independent judgment in the performance of delegated duties, and completing special assignments and tasks.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:We are currently looking for an

onsite at our San Diego Corporate Office.This position is Full-Time | Salary | Full BenefitsPay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 / annual salaryDuties and Responsibilities:Support EVP/GC in performing executive and management responsibilities, including performing delegated responsibilities, prioritizing and managing workflow, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.Receive, coordinate, and act upon highly sensitive and confidential information, exercising discretion with respect to delegated decision-making responsibilities.Collaborate with all departments regarding development and implementation of best practice SOPs.Schedule and prepare for meetings with the Executive Team, Clients, and other Stakeholders.Maintain accurate legal files and databases.Review and process invoices.Coordinate with development/investment teams, outside counsel, lenders, title companies, and other third parties throughout the transaction lifecycle.Assist in the preparation of documentation that flows through the legal department, including development, investment, and property management contracts.Assist in organizing and updating standard form contracts.Review and analyze proposed changes to standard form contracts and assist EVP/GC in review and approval of proposed third-party contracts.Gather, track, review, and submit reports and deliverables as instructed.All other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Preferred specialty in construction, project management, engineering, architecture, or similar Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.3+ years of administration experience required.Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and building partnerships at all levels within the organization.Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple projects and activities.Ability to maintain a strong sense of urgency.Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and multi-task effectively.Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and an innovative thinker.Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization.Experience in multi-family and mixed-use real estate development is preferred.Existing knowledge of project scheduling software is preferred.Existing knowledge of Yardi software preferred.Exceptional communication skills to update internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, on important project details and timelines.WHY YOU WANT TO WORK HERE:CONAM Management Corporation is an experienced, full-service real estate and property management firm which has been in the business for over 40 years.
