In addition to a portfolio of discovery-stage ADCs, our pipeline includes AL102, a gamma secretase inhibitor which is currently in a Phase 3 trial for treatment of desmoid tumors, as well as IM-1021, a ROR1 ADC, and IM-3050, a FAP-targeted radioligand, both of which are the subject of INDs expected to be submitted in the first quarter of 2025.

Position Overview

As Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company’s operations. You will be responsible for overseeing procurement and purchasing activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Your expertise will help streamline operations, reduce costs, and support the organization's mission to develop best-in-class therapies to improve the lives of cancer patients.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing : Develop and implement procurement strategies for laboratory supplies, equipment, facility management items, and services. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Vendor Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure that vendors meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits.

Cost Management : Negotiate with vendors to secure direct cost-savings or intangible value. Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.

Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Manage risks associated with supply chain disruptions, compliance issues, and contract management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with laboratory and facility managers to understand their needs and requirements. Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Legal, and Operations, and the scientific & technical teams to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities.

Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and systems. Implement best practices, leverage technology, and drive efficiency to support the organization’s goals.

Reporting & Analysis : Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics. Use data analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning.Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Biology, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing and procurement within the biotechnology industry or related industry. A proven track record in securing discounts and negotiating supplier agreements and experience in sourcing laboratory supplies and facility management items is required.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, industry regulations, and market trends.

Proficient in procurement management software (Prendio or Coupa is preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range

$128,000 - $150,000
