Commercial Marketing Analysts are responsible for the placement of Property & Casualty business, including both new and renewal business. The position requires knowledge of the capabilities and appetite of insurance carriers as well as familiarity with rating systems. The Marketing Analyst coordinates a high-volume workload in a deadline-driven environment.

Meet regularly with insurance carrier representatives to:Build collaborative relationships.Keep current on status with the agency and capabilities as well as risk appetite.Continually expand technical knowledge, identify market trends, and stay informed of current industry standards.Analyze insurance coverages and pricing models to fit client needs.Complete rating, gather information from insurance carrier website, obtain quotes, and prepare proposals and presentation materials.Maintain client files with excellent documentation and organization of data in agency system Applied Epic.Your Qualifications:

High school degree.Understanding of the Independent Insurance Agency system.Proficient in software applications commonly used in an office environment as well as ability to learn new applications.Current California Property & Casualty license OR required within six months of becoming a Marketing Analyst.Reliable transportation with current auto insurance is necessary for occasional client meetings, continuing education, and/or professional development courses.
