Commercial Marketing Analysts are responsible for the placement of Property & Casualty business to include both new and renewal business. The position requires knowledge of the capabilities and appetite of insurance carriers as well as familiarity with rating systems. The Marketing Analyst coordinates a high-volume workload within a deadline-driven environment.

Meet regularly with insurance carrier representatives to:

Build collaborative relationshipsKeep current on status with the agency and capabilities as well as risk appetite

Continually expand technical knowledge, identify market trends, and stay informed of current industry standardsAnalyze insurance coverages and pricing models to fit client needsComplete rating, gather information from insurance carrier website, obtain quotes, and prepare proposals and presentation materialsMaintain client files with excellent documentation and organization of data in agency system Applied EpicQualifications:

High school degreeProficient in Microsoft Office, multiple carrier portals, Applied Epic as well as ability to learn new applicationsAn in-depth understanding of the Independent Insurance Agency systemCurrent California Property & Casualty licenseReliable transportation with current auto insurance is necessary for occasional client meetings, continuing education, and/or professional development courses
