Project Management Analyst Consultant

effectively manages multiple projects in a large scale technical environment to support the implementation of UHS clinical business or security applications or application environments and platforms ensuring high availability and performance. Demonstrates problem analysis and troubleshooting skills. Uses verbal and written communication skills required for problem definition and resolution. Coordinates staff and resource management. Participates in and documents I.T. activities. Prepares and maintains project budgets, obtains quotes, orders equipment/devices, maintains equipment status reports. Meets deadlines; coordinates IS vendors/teams activities and directs equipment/device deliveries to facilities.Key Responsibilities include:

Supports the implementation of UHS clinical, business or security applications or application environments and platforms to ensure high availability and performance.Manages and implements projects with local IS departments to establish specific project schedules; meet project budgets, and direct work of project team members in a matrix environment.Participates in the evaluation and selection of supporting vendors. Travels to facilities to ensure quality and integrity of work being performed.Ensures projects remain on track, on time, and on budget.Assigns and manages resources for projects both internal and external.Works with outside vendors to define technology requirements, design alternatives, costs, and project schedules for new and existing projects.Leads project status meetings with multiple personnel across different technical teams.Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses.Provides significant issue management/resolution and communication, usually at the executive levels.Qualifications

Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree required.3-5 years of relevant experience required.Strong project management skills – especially in planning, tracking, execution, risk and issue management as it relates to multiple complex projects and initiatives.Proficient in knowledge and application of Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.Strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style.Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively document procedures.Ability to work weekends and after business hours.Travel Requirements:

25%-30% domestic travel.
