Boston, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)What you will be doing:The Sr. Financial Analyst is a key position in our Finance Department with exposure to senior levels of management. This is a position that will provide valuable decision support and investment analysis regarding new product launches as well as address key analysis and drivers of our global business to continue profitable growth.Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models to evaluate and provide financial mentorship on new product development and innovationPostmortem reviews on recently launched new products to determine incrementally and performance against expectationsP&L modeling to determine the feasibility and growth trajectory of the business for forecast, annual plans and long-term strategic planningDevelop Gross Margin analysis to evaluate and forecast trends in our manufacturing and supply chain workstreamsPartner with Marketing teams to develop robust analysis of brand profitability, categories, marketing investments and ROIAssist the FP&A Sr. Manager in developing and analyzing financial results and building analytical tools and presentations to evaluate and report on the businessPartner with headquarter Finance & Accounting teams to better utilize our systems and build efficiencies regarding reporting and analysisPartner with and support the US Commercial teams in financial decisions to achieve profitable volume growthAct as a change agent with a continuous improvement mindset by developing outstanding analytical tools and key performance indicators to evaluate and report business resultsDiligently support the financial cadence including monthly close/analysis, quarterly forecasting, annual planning and strategic efforts.Be comfortable within a Challenge and Be Challenged Culture by asking questions when something is not understood while also being challenged in a constructive way to help drive our team and business in a positive direction.Skills needed to be successful in this role:Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to interact with various levels of managementAbility to optimally handle several projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environmentRequires a highly organized, strong analytical problem solverMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance4+ years experience in FinanceMicrosoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.); Advanced Excel neededProficient using accounting systemsExcellent oral and written English communication skillsAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications:CPA and/or MBAExperience using Oracle Business IntelligenceBenefits:
