About the role The Senior Facility Director is responsible for overseeing the daily facilities maintenance and repair operations for multiple military housing installations within a designated region. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in facilities management, a deep understanding of housing operations, and a proven track record of leading and developing teams. The Senior Facility Director will ensure the highest standards of maintenance, safety, and customer service while aligning with the company's mission of "Putting People First." You may be eligible for a $500 net sign on bonus to be paid out in your first paycheck. What you'll be doing Implement and monitor effective facility management processes, including maintenance repairs, and capital improvements. Ensure that all installations are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality, and safety. Oversee regular physical inspections of properties on assigned installations to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of all assets. Forecast maintenance needs and implement an effective time management program for all personnel to ensure resident satisfaction, achievement of facilities metrics, and timely completion of projects. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop a team of highly motivated, skilled and productive professionals to drive company operational goals. Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring the highest level of service to military families. Address and resolve complex resident issues and concerns promptly and effectively. Develop and maintain strong relationships with military partners, stakeholders, and key community members. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies. Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to continuously improve service delivery and operational performance. Conduct regular reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Develop and manage operating budgets for multiple installations ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost efficiency. Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Oversee procurement and vendor management to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effective solutions. Prepare and present regular reports on facility operations, financial performance, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including military partners and external stakeholders. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains at the forefront of facility management. Oversee the implementation and compliance of the company's safety, Hazmat, and environmental plans, along with Zero Harm initiatives at assigned installations. Typical Physical Demands:

Regularly use hands to manipulate tools, controls, phones and computer keyboard. Frequently stand, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, and stoop. Sit and stand to do clerical work. Regularly lift and move office supplies up to 75 lbs. Who we're looking for: Associates degree is required. Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. Extensive experience in military housing or similar environments is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing large operating budgets. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards (OSHA, EPA), and best practices in facility management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel and Yardi knowledge preferred. Possession of a valid, state-issued driver's license and safe driving record is also required.
