Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year

• Stay informed about overall business trends, including the current healthcare market landscape. Research potential cross-marketing opportunities. Actively engage in professional organizations, attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance RLF’s brand visibility.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on the healthcare market sector. Leverage the firm’s portfolio, reputation, and professional network within the healthcare community to drive marketing success.
• Consistently achieve revenue goals within the healthcare market. Collaborate with management and technical staff on targeted marketing initiatives, identify project opportunities, and lead pursuit efforts. Maintain strong communication with clients and A/E contacts to foster positive business relationships.
• Use the Client Relationship Management system to document and share business development activities. Serve as the Market Sector Leader.
• Work closely with the design team and firm leadership on proposal coordination, interview preparation, go/no-go decisions, budget development, and project team formation. Partner with the Healthcare Capture Manager and Marketing team for planning and proposal kick-off coordination.
• Lead proposal strategy efforts, drive win-theme development, and engage the team throughout the proposal process. Ensure quality control (QC) before submitting proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with a strong emphasis on healthcare.
• Ability to represent RLF positively at business functions, industry conferences, and professional association meetings.
• Experience presenting at healthcare conferences and drafting white papers.
• Proven track record in business development, sales, fee proposals, and building strong client relationships, with the ability to manage and deliver complex healthcare projects.
• Experience as a Project Manager or Client Leader.
• Strong client service orientation, attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and effective communication.
• Ability to actively listen, ask appropriate questions, and follow up effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with MS Project and business development/CRM software experience being a plus.
