Job Description

The Senior Manager, Payer Analytics will report to the Payer Analytics lead and be responsible for managing cross-TA payer dynamic and regional performance.The individual in this role must leverage a broad and deep skill set (functional expertise, therapeutic area knowledge, communication skills, leadership and influencing, executive presence, etc.) to help drive the success of the Payer Analytics team's work across a variety of key stakeholders - including business unit and brand marketing leads, peer functional leads within Commercial Operations, Managed Market team, National Account Managers, and executive leadership.This position will be based in the Foster City, CA office. Full relocation package is available.Specific Responsibilities of the Senior Manager of Payer Analytics Include:Market Access Analytics: Analyze market access landscape (through multiple secondary data sources) to understand potential barriers to access and develop strategies to broaden access and demand.

Data-driven insights: Leverage and triangulate various data sets (MMIT, IQVIA, SHA, 867, Chargeback) to provide insights to support achieving brand and/or sales goals.

Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including Managed market team, Sales, Marketing, and Commercial teams. Act as an internal thought partner, developing strategies to uncover business opportunities and cultivate growth.

Leadership and Strategy: Monitoring payer landscape and continuously evaluate and communicate the impact to Gilead's product portfolio.

Strategic Recommendations: Effectively communicate insights from complex analysis to key stakeholders and Sr. Leadership. Be considered a thought leader in payer/market access analytics.

Analytical Storytelling: Develop and present analytical solutions and insights in a compelling manner to ensure stakeholder buy-in and support for data-driven initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and Eight Years’ Experience OR Masters' Degree and Six Years’ Experience.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s or advanced degree in quantitative field such as Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or Engineering preferred.

6+ years working experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry.

Intermediate level Excel and Tableau skills.

Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health, MMIT etc.) is required.

Proven history of working and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously, with tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Experience in Managed Markets / Commercial Analytics / Payer Analytics is desirable, as is a solid understanding of principles relating to the area of functional specialization.
