ECVC Associate Attorney

Position: ECVC Associate AttorneyOffice: San Diego, CA; San Francisco, CAExperience: 3 - 6 Years of Venture Capital ExperienceWe have immediate openings for experienced Emerging Company and Venture Capital Associates, to be based in our San Francisco and San Diego offices (and potentially open to other locations).Ideal Candidate:Experienced with start-ups and emerging growth companies, including seed and venture capital financings and public offerings. A minimum of ten venture financings using NVCA documents is required.The ideal candidate will also have some experience in domestic M&A transactions, particularly for startup companies and investors.Proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships.Experience working in a premier corporate practice.Involvement with, or an affinity for, technology, life sciences, and/or CPG businesses.Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.Commitment to delivering excellent client service.Entrepreneurial, innovative, and forward-thinking.Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills and judgment.A strong work ethic, team player attitude, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions.Bar Admission in California is required.Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays.
