In terms of viral vector service, ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.Job Scope:Genscript ProBio is seeking a corporate Legal Counsel to take a leadership role in developing and implementing global legal and regulatory strategies and managing day to day legal needs. This role will be based onsite in Piscataway, NJ.Job Responsibilities:Providing legal advice to assigned business partners on a broad range of topicsStaying up to date in regard to legal and regulatory developments that may impact our business, and formulating and implementing strategies in risk mitigationWorking and communicating with customers, collaborators, vendors/suppliers and other external strategic partners in connection with our businessesManaging the use of outside legal counsel globallyOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:A successful candidate should have good communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking abilitiesJuris Doctorate (JD) and admission to practice in a U.S. state or territory of the District of Columbia, and 5+ years of combined experience at in-house and law firmExpertise in commercial transactions, especially in sales and service agreements highly preferredFamiliarity with IP-related transactions, e.g. license agreements, a plus; experience with the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries desiredA client-centric mentality and ability to work collaboratively with and skillfully influence internal clients and stakeholdersAbility to independently oversee legal matters, and manage outside counselAbility to meet deadlines, handle multiple matters and see projects through to conclusion
