HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:This role typical reports into a Designer and is based in our Buckhead office in our hybrid/ in-office work environment (4 days/week in-office).
50% Design Process & CommunicationSupport facilitation for all aspects of design: from initial concept to final development of productParticipate in all aspects of daily follow up with internal business partner, i.e. email communication and meetingsLearn the creative process as well as observing the design leaders in the day-to-day workingsPrepare and update linesheets in illustrator, maintain fabric and trim details in miro, and manage silhouette numbersAssist with pre-production art (review prints, graphic scale & placements, validate color chips and line sheets/BOM with supervisor and own complete process for their portion of the line)Participate in fit process and update design sketches based on feedback during fittingsTrain Interns on silhouette sketching in Illustrator and line sheet/BOM responsibilitiesBuild and update color swatch palettes as needed for the teamRegularly communicate progress with cross functional partnersResponsible for editing all product details throughout design review process that impact final execution of product commercialization30% Product line Development
Sketch technical drawings in illustrator, communicate design intent, and update silo matrix accordingly, with direction from supervisorFill silhouettes with prints/art in Illustrator working line sheet, update printouts accordingly for presentation meetingsIndependently design at least one program or a portion of a program with Supervisor's mentorship20% Creative Concept
Research and present design and creative concepts that demonstrate innovative, brand-right creative (silos, trim & details, color, print & graphic design direction to supervisor and peers)Prepare and request design and proto samples from Product Development & Sourcing teamAssemble creative and /or trend boards for formal internal or external presentations and set up creative PDF filesWE'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:Must have:
