Oversees video productions, projects, and operations within the FIU Online Content Creation team. The Multimedia Producer plays a vital role in conceptualizing, designing, planning, and producing captivating media content for FIU Online faculty, staff, and external clients.Assists the content creation team in conceptualizing, designing, planning, and producing media for faculty, staff, and clients.Produces graphics, motion graphics, and camera-ready artwork needed to complete multimedia projects.Translates creative briefs into pre-production plans, executes production and post-production work.Assists instructional designers in enhancing course content through multimedia design principles.Assists in developing, creating, and editing digital photography.Performs different roles in a production crew, assisting with all aspects of production.Instructs staff, faculty, and clients on multimedia services, capabilities, and best practices.Develops projects with new and innovative multimedia practices, equipment, and software.Maintains the multimedia database and library of projects, footage, and other multimedia files.Assists in monitoring inventory of required supplies and equipment.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of experience in related field; OR six (6) years of experience in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.Departmental Requirements
Experience in videography, photography, audio recording, and/or editing.Must submit a link to a portfolio and/or reel.Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with creative and artistic vision.Experience with Adobe Premier Pro and software knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, Camtasia, Mediasite, OBS, Tricaster.Knowledge of film & television lighting techniques.Experience operating production studios and using audio, visual, and film production equipment.Advertised Salary
$40,000-$42,000Work Schedule
