Job Summary
We are seeking a student assistant to assist in our marketing and communications efforts. The student will assist the Junior Account Manager to fulfill our goals and initiatives.Responsibilities:Content creation; photography, graphic design, video editing.Help with posting on social media platforms.Increase student and community awareness of the unit by proposing marketing ideas and campaigns.Measure success of social media posts by providing data and analytics.Assist in writing articles for publication on the Honors website.General administrative assistance.Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Current FIU student and eligible for Federal Work Study.Ability to use graphic tools to create flyers, posts, and infographics using Adobe Creative Suite & Canva.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to work flexible hours as needed.Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Who May Apply
Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.Students must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.

Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of department.
