Job Summary
The Honors College is currently seeking a student to join their team of professionals. Duties to include:Review and respond to phone messages, emails, and other communications as neededReview and update social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and InstagramAnswer phone callsHelp with the planning and preparation of the flyers to study abroadReview and update websites as necessaryAssist with the promotion of the Honors Colleges at eventsAssist with the development of student success stories and videosPerform other related duties as assigned or directedThe omission of specific functions does not prevent the supervisor from assigning functions logically related to the positionJob Category

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, problem-solving, and listening skillsExcellent communication (oral and written skills)Proficient computer skills and ability to use MicrosoftPossess a high sense of responsibility and customer service skillsWho May Apply
Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.Work Schedule
Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of department.
