The Associate Manager of Store Development at SKIMS will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of new store openings, renovations, and ongoing facilities management. This individual will be responsible for managing the setup and organization of project information, coordinating with internal and external teams, and supporting the overall store development process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:Project Setup and Documentation:·Create and manage project setup packages, including initial folder setup and organization of new project information for schematic design.·Update and maintain new store standard decks.·Organize documents for project setup, including as-built drawings, photos, and design criteria.Project Administration:·Contribute to project administration tasks such as organizing and creating new project files, downloading, uploading, and sending files.·Maintain printed drawing sets for office use, plot, and print drawings as needed.Store Development Support:·Assist with general store development administration, including vendor research and selection, materials research, and inspiration gathering.·Collaborate with the team to create, organize, and maintain standards packages for store development.·Support communications with internal departments and external consultants/vendors.·Establish and maintain a centralized hub for HQ and retail communication.Facilities and Maintenance Coordination:·Coordinate facilities and maintenance services for every store, ensuring that all locations are well-maintained and meet SKIMS standards.·Work closely with maintenance teams and service providers to address and resolve any facility-related issues promptly.Cross-Functional Coordination:·Work cross-functionally with Creative and Design teams to ensure assets are in place for all stores across retail, wholesale concessions, and activations.·Communicative in driving X-Functional alignment to ensure timely execution of projects.Requirements:·Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.·Experience in new store openings.·2-5 years of architectural design experience, ideally in the retail field.·Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and InDesign.·Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt and coordinate across multiple departments.·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.·Strong relationship management skills.·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.·Strong production, technical, and research skills.·Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.·General knowledge of construction.·Outstanding graphic presentation skills.·Passionate, self-starting, intelligent, dedicated, and efficient.·Enjoys taking responsibility and collaborating with teams.The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000 a year.Benefits and Culture100% Company Paid Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Kind Body Fertility Benefits401(k) savings plan with up to 4% matchUnlimited PTOFull Access to LinkedIn learningEmployee DiscountsPerks (HQ Location)Free weekly catered lunch at HQ – M/W/ThDog-Friendly officeFree Swag GiveawaysAnnual Holiday PartyAnnual Summer PartyInvitations to pop-ups and other company eventsComplimentary daily office snacks and beveragesSKIMS is committed to continuously creating an inclusive environment for all employees and candidates, reflective of the rich diversity of the communities we serve.
