We are looking for an Inbound Coordinator to join us in advancing the industry forward.In this role, you will coordinate and monitor the processing of inbound shipments, working closely with suppliers, carriers, warehouse staff, and the logistics team to optimize inventory flow and accuracy to our various distribution centers.As an Inbound Operations Coordinator, you'll collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to guarantee timely delivery, accurate inventory, and maintain high standards of quality. Your meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills will directly contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier products to our valued customers.If you're ready to make a significant impact and grow within a fast-paced, innovative company, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesManage the coordination of inbound shipments at the distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods with our 3PL provider.Support and enforce the streamlined processes for receiving and handling inbound shipments to improve efficiency and accuracy.Daily monitoring of the receipts for all inbound shipments and inventory transfers into our distribution centers, including all documentation, system updates, and SLA requirements.Review daily receiving priorities and adjust appropriately to communicate with our 3PL receiving teams, according to replenishment or high demand needs.Monitor inventory receiving and put-away status and escalate issues internally to the Ops Team for resolution support.Daily interaction with DCs, vendors, carriers, and the logistics team for delivery forecasts to support inbound capacity planning.Communicate any status or delays to appropriate parties.Conduct frequent and thorough quality checks or inspections of packaging, product, and shipment accuracy to maintain high standards of vendor compliance.Perform ad hoc analysis and create reporting that helps support process improvements to drive company compliance excellence.Proactively identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies with the inbound manager for mitigation.Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to shipping and receiving, applying this knowledge to enhance our operations.RequirementsProven problem-solving and team building skills.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required.Able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.Must be highly detail-oriented with strong project management skills.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, Smartsheet, Power Bi (recommended).Years of experience required: Min. 2-3 years; experience in the fashion industry is a plus.Minimum of 3 days in LA office hybrid schedule.SKILLSInventory ManagementSupply Chain CoordinationData AnalysisVendor RelationsProblem-SolvingCommunication SkillsTime ManagementAttention to DetailLogistics PlanningDocumentation AccuracySalary: $65,000 - $70,000 a yearBenefits and Culture100% Company Paid Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Kind Body Fertility Benefits401(k) savings plan with up to 4% matchUnlimited PTOFull Access to LinkedIn learningEmployee DiscountsPerks (HQ Location)Free weekly catered lunch at HQ – M/W/ThDog-Friendly officeFree Swag GiveawaysAnnual Holiday PartyAnnual Summer PartyInvitations to pop-ups and other company eventsComplimentary daily office snacks and beveragesSKIMS is committed to continuously creating an inclusive environment for all employees and candidates, reflective of the rich diversity of the communities we serve.
