Our client has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This candidate will support the Accounting department and must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. Job Responsibilities:
1-3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
Strong reconciliation experience (bank accounts, balance sheet, and credit card)
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, maintain and balance the general ledger, and preparing journal entries
Financial statement preparation, account analysis, and assist with budget preparation (would be a plus!)
Keeps chart of accounts and customer/vendor lists accurate and up to date
Assists with month/quarter-end close, audits, and tax preparation
Proficiency with Excel & ERP systems
Requirements:
1-3+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, (related field will be considered with the right experience)
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Excel proficiency
