About the roleThe Sustainable Fuels Analyst will support the Sustainable Fuels Advisor in delivering WK Service's
Sustainability Compliance
and
Capability Development
programmes, building the company's ability to supply and sell sustainable fuels globally, including across the Aviation and Marine segments in the near term.Responsibilities
Working with the company's Sustainable Fuels Advisor to coordinate the global, annual
ISCC External Audit programme
for all certified WFS-entities and protect our certification status.Helping to develop the WFS
ISCC Internal Training programme
and providing expertise to regional Supply teams to decentralise day-to-day compliance work as much as possible.Developing the WFS
ISCC Internal Audit programme , building an effective series of controls and reporting templates to monitor compliance in collaboration with the Internal Audit team.Developing ISCC procedures and tools
- such as developing automated mass-balancing and document-processing systems, and owning and implementing changes as required by new guidelines or regulations.Engaging with ISCC
to streamline rules and guidelines and influence future policy direction around Book and Claim.Iteratively
developing new and existing ISCC compliance documents
(e.g. Product Transfer Document, Proof of Sustainability, etc.) where required by Supply team.Supporting the Sustainable Fuels Advisor in
embedding other required changes
to ensure the compliant supply of sustainable fuel, e.g. implementation of Union Database for Biofuels (UDB), French National System certification (CarbuRe), etc.Preparing Impact Assessments
analysing the impact on the Supply team of changes to national, state, federal and EU sustainable fuels legislation - e.g. reporting requirements and policy incentives - as required by Sustainable Fuels Advisor.Tracking and
monitoring Book and Claim registries
to identify new Supply opportunities for sustainable fuels.Candidate requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably Sustainability oriented.0-2 years of experience.Experience with
ISCC
regulations.Ability to work across functions and departments - in particular Supply, Compliance, Legal and IT - to complete sustainability compliance projects.Strong time management skills to balance competing projects.Strong stakeholder engagement skills to deliver effective and enduring change.Excellent research and analytical skills, in particular the ability to simplify complex and overlapping guidelines and regulations to deliver decisive insights.Degree or prior professional experience in sustainability.Travel is required.World Kinect is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
