Top 50 company for Diversity and have multiple Sustainability awards (ranking #22 in the World and #1 in Food Products)Wellbeing programs including Physical, Mental and Financial wellnessPosition Overview:Reporting to the Senior GPO - Record to Report & GRC, the GPO - Record to Report will lead the transformation, improvement, and implementation of the R2R capabilities within the scope of Business Transformation at McCormick. This leader will work with Executive Stakeholders including all Finance Functions, Corporate Controllership and Internal Audit, Global Process Design Teams, Subject Matter Experts, IT Business Solutions teams, and other internal and external partners to drive and deliver the R2R vision and design. This position will collaborate closely with the Global Delivery Lead for Record to Report as well as other finance leaders on execution of the global R2R solution and change management.Responsibilities:Leads the transformation, improvement, and implementation oversight of the end to end R2R capabilities within the scope of Business Transformation at McCormick.Develop persuasive and impactful presentations conveying complex ideas in a simple manner; manage stakeholder expectations including global, executive audiences.Monitor milestones, deliverables, and budget; create visibility to program deliverables and escalate for efficient and effective proactive resolution of obstacles.Works with business stakeholders on issue resolution and where required, the issue and decision processes.Manages, leads and develops the R2R team to ensure high-performing talent, succession depth and diverse and inclusive teams. Leads and supervises assigned SME’s for designated process team support.Demonstrates the competencies including strategic thinking and leadership, faster-decision making, personal accountability, actionable insights, agility to achieve objectives.Establish direction and provide inspirational leadership to program/project team members to generate momentum to build success.Develop and implement communications, training, and change roadmap to achieve program success – including adoption.Create and connect employees across the global organization to the vision, mission, objectives and measures of success for global and/or regional program deployments.Effectively manage diversity and inclusion in complex global initiatives where employees and partners work across geographies, time zones, and cultures.Leadership & Transformational Change Management.Effectively navigates complexity to achieve results.Agile, flexible and a change champion. Can effectively lead large teams through transformational change.Creates simplicity from complexity to drive for results and guide teams to achieve.Takes ownership of deliverables from start to finish.Innovative; identifies methods and organizes approaches that are modern and will work to connect global audiences.Knowledge of technologies, techniques and practices for the evaluation of business performance data; ability to analyze business performance using advanced statistical methods to justify and drive future business planning decisions.Facilitates growth in program team members, encourages and recognizes performance for both results achieved and key learnings throughout the journey.Manages issues through to resolution.Ability to influence cross functional process teams to problem solve and manage escalations as needed, while remediating conflicts and challenges.Drives standards across a portfolio of cross functional global teams, leading to consistency of operation and execution.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree10-15 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or similar experience5-10 years in a leadership role and/or delivering complex projects.Understanding of Controls requirements for Record to ReportExpertise with systems that support product lifecycle management, regulatory and quality processes.Understanding of SAP Product Compliance and/or Selerant Devex solutions.Experience leading, developing, and coaching employees and high performing teams in a virtual environment with a geographically dispersed organization.Effective leadership managing virtual resources within a global business environment.Extensive global program management and strong project management abilities.Strong collaboration and relationship management knowledge, skills and abilities to establish credibility and confidence with peers, leadership teams and external influences.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Master’s degree in business administration (MBA)McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
