We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Integrative healthcare team. We are a group of fun, hard-working healthcare professionals who value teamwork, problem-solving, and a healthy work/life balance.

Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education.

Responsibilities:•Conduct comprehensive health assessments on patients•Perform physical examinations and record patient medical histories•Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies•Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses•Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans•Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care•Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:•Knowledge of medication administration protocols•Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology•Experience using electronic medical record systems (Athena One)•Knowledge of psychopharmacology for the treatment of mental health conditions

Requirements:•Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Alaska•Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program•Certification as a Nurse Practitioner•Current CPR certification
