Brightspeed is looking for a skilled SQL Developer, Financial Reporting to join our growing team! As part of the Financial Business Intelligence Team, you will play a critical role in the design and development of complex queries to organize and retrieve data for financial reporting. You'll work with cross-functional stakeholders including IT, Finance, and Business partners to contribute to various projects, including the buildout and automation of financial reporting, data migrations, and the optimization of database and query design. You will need experience in SQL development and data migrations, and experience in SAP, Power BI, Big Query is also a plus. As an SQL Developer, your duties and responsibilities will include: Writing complex SQL queries based on business and reporting needs Troubleshootand resolve data-related issues Workwith cross functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize enhancement and development requests Analyzedata from multiple sources and working through nuances while maintaining data integrity Createand maintain documentation for queries, data, and requirements Optimize queries and document schema Work with IT to support and test data and report migrations Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE: 5+ years of progressive experience in SQL, including designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex queries Familiar using BigQuery to retrieve data Experience with major data migrations involving both business and IT stakeholders Solid understanding of database design principles and experience with data modeling, in addition to query planning & optimization Proven ability to work with cross functional teams to prioritize and achieve results Attention to detail that translates into strong analytical results and problem-solving Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Experience in SAP / Power BI a plus #LI-AK1 Additional Information
