We are looking to add a Preconstruction Estimator Intern to our team! The successful candidate will be eager to learn and develop new skills. As you gain traction in this role, you will be responsible for analyzing costs and budgets for our projects, as well as providing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, and possess strong analytical skills. This is a very fast-paced, timeline driven position, and you must have excellent interpersonal skills. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities:- Learn to analyze costs and budgets for construction projects- Provide accurate estimates for materials, labor, and equipment- Prepare bids and proposals- Review and analyze project specifications and drawings- Identify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software to create and manage project budgets and estimates
