What does a Maintenance Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?Directs, manages and holds accountable all maintenance employees. Directs and implements all maintenance programs for building and machinery in an orderly, efficient and professional manner. Keeps accurate records of department activities and budgets. Assures the operation of safe and functionally sound machinery. Directs all major equipment rebuilding and overhauls. Working with government regulatory agencies, or other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Details:Schedule: 9:00p - 5:30a (Mon - Fri, some weekends)Location: This will be at our Tempe plant.
Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of all maintenance related functionsSupervises routine and preventive maintenance on all production and building equipmentImplement and schedule a preventive maintenance systemPlans and coordinates equipment rebuilds and overhaulsBudgets-recommend and control expense budgets Capital expenditures recommendationsEffectively supervises the maintenance department staff, ensuring optimal performanceEnsures that maintenance staff is appropriately trainedProvides regular feedback to maintenance personnel regarding performance of duties as outlined in job descriptions and maintains personnel filesFormulates and implements employee corrective actions as neededEnsures compliance with Company policies, safety regulations, and assures their understanding and support of the Swire Mission Statement and Core valuesAssumes responsibility for the effective administration and coordination of department functionsMaintains accurate departmental, equipment, and budget recordsEstablishes and maintains an effective working relationship with department employees, other production center managers, and production line supervisors in order to resolve outstanding issues or corrective actions.Ensures that work area is clean, safe, and in accordance with OSHA regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in manufacturing engineering or related field requiredHigh School Degree additional experience required6+ years manufacturing experience required (beverage/food preferred)4+ years supervising manufacturing staff requiredKnowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP requirementsStrong understanding of the plant production systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, water handling, mechanical, automation, and othersStrong knowledge of industry maintenance standards for manufacturing of food grade products
