Position Description:

Provide support and assistance to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized BMF platform and also support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based on IRS priorities. Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.

Education, Degrees, and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Requirements:

Developer / Architect with experience refactoring code.

Broad range of programming experience.

Experience with full-stack development.

Ability to learn ADDI and MAM accelerator toolsets.

Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices, with the ability to translate assembly logic to modern constructs.

Strong problem-solving skills are needed to develop solutions and mitigate identified risks.

Familiarity with other z/OS analysis or development tools.
