Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized BMF platform and support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based on IRS priorities.
Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience with Architectural frameworks and designing applications
Experience developing physical and logical architectures, leveraging client templates/process
Experience with both Java application programming and migration
Validate overall solution with client and project team
Modernization approaches: Familiarity with various modernization strategies like refactoring, containerization, cloud integration, and API enablement.
Familiarity with mainframe data structures and formats
Understanding of IBM Z systems: Minimum of 15 years of work experience with a demonstrated knowledge of z/OS, Assembly Language, DB2, QSAM, IMS, CA Endevor, BMC Control-M, JCL, and other core IBM mainframe technologies.
Experience with Java Message Service, Core Java, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, AWS services
