This position is eligible for a $40,000 retention bonus ($20,000 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service).

*Retention bonus prorated based on FTE status.

Salary Range

Dependent upon qualifications and FTE status

Part-time: $119,832.79 - $138,753.76

Full-time: $239,665.58 - $277,507.51

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing psychiatric care to children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. This includes providing diagnostic assessments and ongoing medication management for a potentially complicated patient population and facilitating hospitalization when necessary. The provider will develop and sustain productive client relationships with the assistance of the psychiatric support staff. The provider will also need to work collaboratively with programs and staff across the agency to provide strong coordination of care.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of an approved General Psychiatry Residency Program with special focus in child/adolescent psychiatry OR Child and Adolescent Psychiatry FellowshipActive DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification in MinnesotaActive licensure to practice medicine in the state of MinnesotaCurrently credentialed or eligible to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team setting across multiple disciplines
