Quality Assurance Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Lead with a strong background in software engineering to join our team. The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for leading the quality control efforts utilizing both manual testing and automated testing on complex, data-driven, web-based software applications and websites. The ideal candidate will have a combination of software development expertise and quality assurance experience, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work with an agile team to plan test cases for User Stories and Features.Create testing automation scenarios to be run on new development.Document and interpret results of automated testing, creating bugs and documenting future remediation work.Perform manual testing against acceptance criteria throughout the life of software projects.Coordinate automation activities around regression testing and scheduled testing for clients.Report and track issues accurately and effectively.Evaluate mid-project changes for testing impact.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software development and quality assurance.Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, training, and performance management.Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on quality assurance and testing.Test automation skills and experience with various automated testing tools.Experience on an agile development team in the role of a Quality Assurance Lead.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.A firm grasp on how websites, web applications, APIs, databases, mobile apps, windows apps, and cloud function at a high level.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality software products.Certification in software quality assurance is a plus.PREFERRED SKILLS:Azure DevOps, Jira, and/or other agile work organization tools.Microsoft stack technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure.BENEFITS:Health insurance – Builders Capital pays 100% of employee Medical insurance premiums.Competitive wages.Paid time off – 3 weeks a year.Paid holidays – 10 paid holidays.Health Savings Account (HSA) – Builders Capital puts $62.50 a month into an HSA account for employee.This job posting highlights the most critical responsibilities and requirements of the job; however, there may be additional duties, responsibilities, and qualifications for this job.Construction Loan Services II LLC (Builders Capital) and its affiliates are Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employers and welcome all qualified applicants.
