Sourcing Industry Group (SIG)
Sr. Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager
Sourcing Industry Group (SIG), San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
Zip is tackling the $50B+ TAM space to transform the way businesses manage spend. Our co-founders started Zip (YC S2020) because they saw the challenges companies had using outdated 20-year-old software to manage hundreds of millions of dollars in spend every year. We invented the world’s leading Intake-to-Procure solution to bring a consumer-grade user experience to B2B purchasing. And, we’re just getting started.
We’re a fast-growing team that helped scale category-defining companies like Airbnb, Facebook, Salesforce, Apple, Quora, Pinterest, and Square. With $180 million in
funding
from YC Continuity (Y Combinator), CRV, and Tiger Global, we’re valued at $1.5 billion in just 3 years. In today’s economic climate, the value we offer our customers is more critical than ever, and our business is accelerating. We’re growing quickly and need your help!
Zip is hiring a Sr. Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager to join our Ops team supporting Marketing.
Core Responsibilities:
Own Operations:
You will own the day-to-day work of “keeping the lights” on for marketing at Zip. Everything from planning to campaign management to analysis to list uploads to auditing leads to “whatever it takes”.
Insights Powerhouse:
You shed light on the truth; you own the data from the initial entry into our funnel all the way down to the final board reporting; this includes designing the data structure and foundation so we can derive accurate insights, as well as end-to-end analysis + insights that help the marketing team make better decisions.
Strategic Partner:
You drive core initiatives for the broader marketing team; you’re a trusted advisor and partner to Zip’s leadership team and marketing leadership; you ensure projects are driven to completion with both high velocity and high quality.
You would be a great fit for this role if most of the following are true:
Data & SQL:
You write great SQL. You can think in spreadsheets and have pushed the limits of what’s possible. You know the difference between data and insight.
Technical:
You could explain Marketo to a 5-year-old and can make it do things it’s not supposed to be able to do. You can also be a Salesforce admin in a pinch. You have familiarity with the other common martech – e.g. enrichment, routing, intent, etc.
Communication:
You enjoy an Amazon-style memo and can storyboard an analysis for the CEO in 10 mins; time permitting, you can make your point in 50% fewer words.
Experience:
You have seen this movie before and have 4+ years of experience in this space. You have strong opinions about lead scoring, ideal funnel stages, attribution, and all the gnarly marketing topics – but not so strongly held that you can’t be reasoned with.
Altitude:
You can go from line-by-line data checking to building Marketo automation, to prepping an exec presentation on lead scoring, to discussing strategy with marketing leaders.
Attitude:
You don’t use the word impossible. There are more creative solutions and tradeoffs to be made. You find a way.
The salary range for this role is $150,000 – $165,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
Perks & Benefits:
Start-up equity
Full health, vision & dental coverage
Catered lunches & dinners for SF employees
Commuter benefit
Team-building events & happy hours
Flexible PTO
Apple equipment plus home office budget
401k plan
We’re looking to hire Zipsters and that means hiring people who take ownership, communicate openly, have an underdog mindset, and are excited to increase the pace of innovation for every business in the world. We encourage all candidates to apply even if your experience doesn’t exactly match up to our job description. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workspace where everyone (regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and more) feels like they belong. We look forward to hearing from you!
