Goodrich Area Schools Pilot Program Summary:
Goodrich Area Schools is seeking a grant-funded Elementary Math Interventionist to support elementary students in math development. This position is part of a pilot program and is funded by the 23g MI Kids Back on Track grant. Qualifications and Requirements
Current elementary teaching certification Must meet highly qualified status for ESSA Knowledge surrounding Math State Standards is essential Experience in research-based instructional strategies, best practices Strong collaborative skills are critical A student-centered, whole child approach to teaching and learning is optimal Excellent ability to relate to students, teachers, and administrators A self-directed thinker and problem solver Willingness to develop own professional knowledge and skills Essential Functions and Representative Duties
Support K-5 Title I Math programming Provide supplemental math intervention support for elementary students Monitor student progress and make instructional decisions based on a variety of data collected Collect overall data on student growth and complete a program evaluation at the end of the school year Other duties as assigned Work Environment
Work is performed at Reid and Oaktree Elementary School and may include other facilities of the district when necessary. There is limited exposure to physical risk. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time position and is a part of a pilot program and not part of the bargaining unit. It is funded through the 23g grant for the 2024-2025 school calendar. REPORTS TO:
Building Principals COMPENSATION:
