Goodrich Area Schools Pilot ProgramSummary:

Goodrich Area Schools is seeking a grant-funded Elementary Math Interventionist to support elementary students in math development. This position is part of a pilot program and is funded by the 23g MI Kids Back on Track grant.Qualifications and Requirements

Current elementary teaching certificationMust meet highly qualified status for ESSAKnowledge surrounding Math State Standards is essentialExperience in research-based instructional strategies, best practicesStrong collaborative skills are criticalA student-centered, whole child approach to teaching and learning is optimalExcellent ability to relate to students, teachers, and administratorsA self-directed thinker and problem solverWillingness to develop own professional knowledge and skillsEssential Functions and Representative Duties

Support K-5 Title I Math programmingProvide supplemental math intervention support for elementary studentsMonitor student progress and make instructional decisions based on a variety of data collectedCollect overall data on student growth and complete a program evaluation at the end of the school yearOther duties as assignedWork Environment

Work is performed at Reid and Oaktree Elementary School and may include other facilities of the district when necessary. There is limited exposure to physical risk.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a full-time position and is a part of a pilot program and not part of the bargaining unit. It is funded through the 23g grant for the 2024-2025 school calendar.REPORTS TO:
