Sunday through Thursday 9am- 6pm with events, conferences, and special initiatives as neededOBJECTIVE:Redemption Church is a vibrant, multi-generational, non-denominational Christian Church that has a dynamic calendar of annual events and special initiatives throughout the year, in addition to its weekly services. Establish and implement quality standards for all volunteers and create a volunteer culture with a set of behaviors, terms, and values to ensure the optimal guest experience. Providing an excellence and a welcoming experience to every guest that enters our campus with collaboration with staff and other serve departments.RESPONSIBILITIES:Cast vision for excellence in guest services with an emphasis on welcoming, informing, and serving each guest.Manage event planning, coordination, communication, and high-quality delivery on major events and special initiatives as it pertains to the Guest Experience and Redemption Volunteers (Dream Team).Lead interdepartmental communications pertinent to their respective Dream Team and the needs of the event or special initiative.Be a visible, approachable leader amongst the serve team as their go-to for high-level issues and concerns.Coordinate signage consistency and placement in parking and entrances for special events.Manage departmental budget as it applies per event, service, or conference.Manage all volunteer recruitment, training, relationship building, and recognition programs.Communicate the experience vision to staff department heads alike to create a standardization of the volunteer experience across all teams.Manage new guest follow-up protocols ensuring seamless experience from arrival to weeks, sometimes months post-visit.Maintain a clean and presentable appearance of the lobby, worship sanctuary, lounge, and parking lot areas via direct execution or collaborating with different serve areas.Provide coaching and leadership for Guest Experience serve team and team leaders.Co-lead internal monthly GT Huddle in partnership with the Growth Track Dept.Collaborate with Lounge 105 for apparel and merch launches and displays around the campus.Implement new exciting experiences on Sundays and for events (i.e., party plaza activities after Sunday in the warmer weather, signage down the street for oncoming/passing traffic, etc.).Responsible for Dream Team specific events, celebrations, recognition programs, and Coach + Captain Program.Directly manage and be accountable to the following serve areas: Serve Central, Greeter, First Time Guest, Golf Carts, DJ, Fun Squad, Party Plaza, Parking (in collaboration with security team).Create and maintain a first-time guest experience from entering the campus all the way through exiting campus with supporting processes dependent on their tour of the campus (i.e., grabbing a coffee at the lounge, visiting first time guest booths, setting up children for childcare, receiving the Lord, etc.).Monitor scheduling of all Dream Team for Sunday gatherings and special events accounting for all Guest and Volunteer area needs.Ensure consistency and effectiveness in all systems and procedures each week.Collaborate with the Guest Experience leaders of our other campuses to discover best practices and contribute to the overall health of the entire church.Oversee all event setup and breakdown with collaboration of other staff, facilities, and volunteers.Maintain proficiency and understanding of all databases, software, and programs.Maintain high-level relationships with partnering teams.Oversee management of team calendar and schedule.Oversee purchasing and storage of all materials, equipment, inventory, marketing items, etc.Oversee all internal department partnerships – Asana requests, meetings, etc.Manage metrics and reporting for areas.Requirements:

1+ years of experience in guest experience. Exceptional attention to detail, logistics, creative and environmental vision, and experience.High-level networking/relational strengths.Ability to establish strong professional relationships with peers, volunteers, and potential vendors.High level of initiative and ability to take a proactive approach to work.Performs job duties on time with excellence.Actively participates in the life of Redemption Church.1-2 years of Event planning/ Project Management.1-2 years of experience managing customer service.1-3 years mid to high-level administrative office skills.Advanced level of expertise of Microsoft Office.Experience working with a non-profit is a plus.Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills.Must be able to lift 10-25 lbs.Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.Fluent in English (Any secondary language is helpful).Be able to bend down, pick up, and move items from one room to the next as needed.Medical & Dental, and Retirement Program available after 90-day probationary period.Redemption Church is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
